ORIGIN COFFEE CO has been proudly serving specialty coffee and delicious food since 2015 when it all started in Saranac Lake. We offer a friendly, local gathering spot for neighbors and ADK travelers alike. We are here to bring people together through an appreciation for great coffee, food, and creativity and to add extra moments of joy to your day.
In Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, our menus are complete with all the coffee shop favorites including pour-overs, espresso, cold brew, lattes, drip coffee, and more. Not in the mood for coffee? Other delicious beverages such as matcha, smoothies, tea, kombucha, and of course hot chocolate, are also available.
Check out our culinary menu available all day featuring signature toasts, paninis, soups, and more. We also bake every morning using the highest quality ingredients. Get here early for pastries & baked goods, as we only fill our case once, and almost always sell out!

Situated in the heart of downtown Saranac Lake, our friendly team has been welcoming people to our bustling coffee shop since 2015.
This location offers indoor (and seasonal outdoor) seating. We love our arts community and encourage you to check out the neighboring galleries or enjoy the peaceful riverwalk behind the shop.
Ample public parking for our Saranac Lake coffee shop is available on the downtown streets as well as in the village parking lots on Main Street, Broadway, and Dorsey Street.
