Washed Process

From the celebrated coffee-growing region of Yirga Cheffe, this lot comes from Banko Gotiti, a small area known for producing expressive coffees with remarkable floral character and vibrant sweetness. Grown at high elevations in rich Ethiopian soil, these coffees develop slowly, creating layered complexity and clarity in the cup.

The coffee is produced by smallholder farmers surrounding the Banko Gotiti washing station, where freshly harvested cherries are carefully sorted, washed, and dried on raised beds under the Ethiopian sun. This meticulous processing helps preserve the coffee’s delicate florals and bright fruit character while maintaining a clean, structured finish.

We create unique roast profiles designed to unlock each coffee’s distinctive natural flavors. This medium roast highlights the elegant floral aromatics, juicy fruit tones, and honey-like sweetness without overshadowing the character that makes Ethiopian coffees so memorable.

In the Cup
Fragrant jasmine florals lead the way, followed by juicy pluot sweetness and a soft honey finish that lingers pleasantly. This coffee shines as a pour-over or filter brew, where its floral aromatics and layered sweetness can fully open up.

We tasted notes of: Jasmine, Pluot, Honey
